                   AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING AN ALLEY
                   LOCATED NORTHEAST OF CRUTCHFIELD STREET,
                   BETWEEN BELLE ARBOR AVENUE AND BLISS AVENUE,
                   MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby 
closed
         and abandoned an alley located northeast of Crutchfield Street, 

         between Belle Arbor Avenue and Bliss Avenue, more particularly
         described herein, and as shown on plat attached hereto and made 
a
         part hereof by reference:
                Part of a 12 foot wide unopened alleyway beginning
                117 feet northeast of the northeast line of
                Crutchfield Street, and extending northeast 129
                feet between parallel lines parallel to, and 144
                feet southeast of, the southeast line of Belle
                Arbor Avenue.  Said part of alleyway separates lots
                9, 11, and 13, block 74, from lots 10, 12, and 14,
                block 74, Roland Hayes Heights Subdivision, as
                shown by plat of record in plat book 14, page 117,
                ROHC.  Tax Map No. 136C-D-7-9 and 16. 
               
              	   SECTION 2.	  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this
         Ordinance shall take effect two weeks from and after its 
passage
         as provided by law.
